In Arizona, Fall is an exciting time! At the forefront of most Arizonan’s minds though, is the cooldown. With temperatures finally falling below triple digits in the Copper State, people can comfortably leave their homes and enjoy the sunshine! For our more northern towns like Flagstaff that deal with flooding, Fall means the end of the monsoon season and the beginning of their snowy season.

Many events also take place during the Fall. Events like “Celebrate Mesa Fall 2022” at Red Mountain Soccer Complex take place on Oct. 8th from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Community events like this are fun for all with food trucks, live music, and games. As always admission to “Celebrate Mesa Fall 2022” is free for everyone!

Edde Marsh says that one of their favorite things to do in the fall is seeing all the beautiful colors and many would agree. In Southern Arizona, it is very dry and you don't get the same color changes as in Northern Arizona, which is more like fall in the Midwest. You do however get amazing cactus blooms and other botanicals start to flourish!

Emily Glaser says "I really enjoy the color changes too but the flavors of fall also get me excited! Many places will start making different pumpkin pastries and maple as well!"
