Main St. in Downtown Mesa has so much to offer to anyone at any given moment in time. During the day you’ll find Downtown, teaming with people visiting all of the shops or grabbing a bite to eat while on a break from the office. Mostly everything you can find on the Downtown Strip is crafted in the city of Mesa. This really gives a major sense of community in the area.
In the morning there is a plethora of coffee shops to choose from. However, OBC Coffee sets itself apart from the rest with its “Banana Coffee”. They blend a whole banana right into the coffee! This morning cup of joe is highly rated by the community.
Mesa loves local produce as well! Main St. Harvest brings in so much fresh food to Mesa via local urban farmers. The milk is brought in from local dairies and even the honey they carry even comes from local beekeepers!
Mesa is currently building another arcade/bar, Level 1 Up Arcade, but the current and still freshly opened Beer Research Institute is the current spot to go for a cold beer and arcade games. They even brew their own beer on site.
The diversity of the food in Arizona is also something to marvel at. Que Chevere is a local Venezuelan bar and restaurant on Main St. They serve up drinks local to Venezuela as well as Venezuelan food like the “Pepito” with ham, chicken, steak, and bacon! Across the street are some of the best tacos in town at Tacos Chiwas. Everything they do is freshly made by hand. They add to the diversity that Mesa carries in culture and food being from Chihuahua, Mexico.
There is always something interesting happening on Main St. You never have to look for long to find something that catches your eye or something you just must try.
